For thousands of years, Yoga has been a tool to open the mind and body, bringing transformation. Hatha Yoga
is a gentle style that focuses on moving with the breath. Its underlying philosophy encourages kindness and acceptance and among the many benefits is flexibility, calming the mind, and relieving stress.

About our Instructor
Gigi Lee, Certified Yoga Instructor, has 20+ years of experience teaching yoga, including founding the yoga programs at the Duke Faculty Club and the Croasdaile Retirement Village. A graduate of the Blue Point Yoga
200-hr teacher training program, Gigi has a passion and commitment to sharing the wealth and benefits that yoga practice has to offer. Her practice highlights sequences that incorporate strength, flexibility, and balance, linking breath with movement, and above all tapping into the ever-present mind-body connection.

Chair Yoga - Tuesdays noon-1:10PM
10-class series, begins when we reach our min. of 5 particpants
Whether due to stiffness, orthopedic injury, or weight issues, if you find it difficult to get up and down from the floor, this yoga class is for you. Although done in a seated position, each session is designed to give you a full body workout.
Yoga has long been known as a transformational form of movement. Gigi’s flowing style of hatha yoga will help you to not only increase your flexibility and range of motion but to also develop greater core strength. This class emphasizes breath techniques and awareness to promote deep relaxation.

Hatha Yoga - Tuesdays 5-6:10PM
10-class series, Feb 10 - April 21 (skips Mar 3)
Class may be joined at any time if space is available.
This class features Gigi’s “flowing” style of yoga and is designed for students with some previous experience or with permission from the instructor. Gigi has a great ability to offer modifications for any pose to make it more accessible for students with limitations of their joints or muscles.

Gentle Yoga - Thursdays 4-5:15PM
10-class series, Feb 26 - April 30
Class may be joined at any time if space is available.
This class, “Gentle Yoga,” is open to introductory-level students or students who desire an easier pace and additional modification. Our classes are small to ensure attention and guidance from the instructor. If you have been waiting for the right opportunity to experience the many benefits of increased flexibility and balance, along with a group of fine folks in a lovely, rural environment, this is your chance!
