Stewart Walker, Owner and Director

Stewart, LMBT, NC License #1286, has been practicing therapeutic massage since 1972. He co-founded the Community Wholistic Health Center (1978), Carrboro, NC, and was the founder and director of the Carolina School of Massage Therapy (1987), Carrboro, NC. In 1990, he moved his private practice to his studio in Durham, NC. In 2012, with the assistance of Melissa Erwin, Wholistic Health Studio began operations including Fitness and Wellness Programs. The studio’s offerings continue to expand with special events, new instructors and a family of Allied Practitioners.

Sabrina Raye West, Office Manager

Sabrina joined WHS in 2012 and quickly made her many talents known. She “runs a tight ship” in our office and also administrates Stewart’s therapeutic massage practice. Having set up and run a Bernina dealership, her administrative skills are broad. She handles WHS office technology and makes sure class/student/instructor administration and communication efforts run smoothly. Her other talents include programming and architectural drawings.
